Basic Teacher Training at Krishna Secondary School

Reflections from our workshop at Snow Leopard Residence
On July 24, 2024, we held a workshop at the Snow Leopard Residence in Kathmandu for students from Dho Tarap, Dolpo, who had just finished their SEE at Crystal Mountain School. This session, focused on personal growth and skill development, was a crucial step in our ONGD-LLEST Project, paving the way for our upcoming field visits to Mustang and Dolpo.

Accessibility Training and Deployment
With the aim of empowering visually and hearing impaired learners, our team conducted monitoring and support visits to several schools during the first quarter of 2024 (January-March). We focused on four schools for visually impaired students (Shree Panchodaya School, Purwanchal Gyan Chakshu Secondary School, Shanti Namuna Secondary School, and Damkada Secondary School).

ICT in Basic Education at Kaski & Nawalparasi
Since 2023, the ICT in Basic Education Project, supported by the KDDI Foundation, aimed to enhance education in Bajura and East-Nawalparasi districts. The project focused on integrating digital learning materials into six public schools, which involved establishing digital learning labs equipped with offline servers and low-powered Raspberry Pi computers. Extensive teacher training ensured the effective use of these materials in the classroom.
