OLE Nepal Presentation at the World Bank
In process of sharing OLE Nepal’s work in larger platform, Rabi Karmacharya, an Executive Director of OLE Nepal recently shared about his experience of leveraging technology for the enhancement of Nepal’s education system in a seminar at the World Bank, Washington DC on August 4, 2015.
The seminar was part of Education Global Practice of the World Bank and was co-sponsored by the Global Partnership for Education as well as the Rotary Club of Capitol Hill, USA. Mr Karmacharya, as one of the presenter talked about the OLE Nepal’s success and challenges in implementing laptop based integrated learning initiative program from pilot phases to scaling up in Nepal.
The primary focus of seminar was to discuss the impact evaluation of technology in Education. Mr Karmacharya shared the organization’s learning experiences in order to bring changes in classrooms of Nepal.
The seminar was chaired by Quentin Wodon, Lead Economist, the World Bank and discussant by Michael Trucano, Sr. Education & Technology Policy Specialist, the World Bank.
