Deployment in twenty new schools

Our technical team along with volunteers successfully deployed laptops and other related equipment in twenty primary schools in Bajhang. The team equipped computer labs, installed server and networked the laptops. The team also familiarized the teachers regarding the basic troubleshooting and other technical issue related to the program.

Altogether 398 laptops were deployed in these school. The laptops were deployed on shared model basis in which each school received number of laptops equivalent to the largest number of students from grade two through five. This time, the largest number of laptop deployment was 38 and the lowest was ten. For these laptops to be properly used, OLE Nepal also deployed especially designed desks and benches for safety and proper use of power cords and laptops in classrooms.
The deployment was conducted between August 27 to September 9, 2015 in different four cluster such as Sunkuda, Bagthala, Chaipur and Bijgada. The teachers of these schools have received basic training regarding the integration digital learning resources through the use of E-Paati (laptops) right before the deployment in their schools.
