Learning while playing with digital educational resources

Samunnat Nepal in cooperation with OLE Nepal integrated digital learning resources at two of their ‘Kheldai Sikne Kendra’ in Chitwan.
Samunnat Nepal, a non-profit organization working in the field of education, provided four XO laptops in each of their centers which were loaded with OLE Nepal’s E-Pustakalaya and E-Paath content. The ‘Kheldai Sikne Kendra’ was established as a learning center for children who could not continue their schooling for various reasons. The aim of integrating digital learning resources was to provide children with a wonderful opportunity to explore additional educational resources.

OLE Nepal team comprising of Mr. Deepak Shrestha, Training and Monitoring Manager and Mr. Saugat Tripathi, Technical staff conducted two-day orientation and training program for the facilitators, volunteers and staff of the organization. The total of nine participants were present during the orientation which introduced them to the digital learning resources and its objectives along with the technicalities of networking.
