Sindhupalchok district is our new partner in progress. OLE Nepal team conducted a seven-day ICT integrated Basic Teacher Training for 22 teachers from eighteen schools in Sindhupalchok. The training was held at Shree Jana Jyoti Lower Secondary School from October 14 to 20, 2014. This training was organized in request of First Steps Himalaya Nepal, an NGO working to promote childhood development and quality education in schools with an aim to assist and guide teachers in integrating interactive digital learning educational resources within their classrooms. It was supported by the Rotary Club of Kathmandu Mid-Town and the Rotary Club of Oldmeldrum, Scotland. The Rotary Clubs had also provided twenty XO laptops to two schools in Sindhupalchok, namely, Shree Jana Jyoti Lower Secondary School and Shree Golma Devi Secondary School, along with OLE Nepal’s digital library servers and network equipments.
