OLE Nepal is a Nepali not-for-profit organization registered with the Kathmandu District Administration Office, the Kathmandu District Development Committee and the Social Welfare Council. Although the organization was officially registered only in September 2007, its leaders have been working informally in the area of technology and education since June 2006.

OLE Nepal is dedicated to improving quality and access in Nepal's public education system. It seeks to fulfill this mission by developing and disseminating high quality open-source Information and Communication Technology (ICT)-based educational teaching-learning materials that are accessible and available free of cost to all. We believe integrating ICT-based teaching-learning approaches into the regular school curriculum and mainstream pedagogy could significantly help Nepal meet the EFA goals.
